To create the industry leaders of tomorrow, we need more than our library of education tools and the knowledge they impart. We realize that you can't expect to create managers when you are only imparting the skills of their trade. While many people move into positions of leadership and management in the course of their career, most of them have little if any education on how to actually lead people and get things done. Acknowledging this deficiency in many education programs, we have spent a great deal of time perfecting our professional development resources.

From courses on instructor development to leadership textbooks, we work hard to ensure that students can grow and improve not only themselves, but their entire team.  Professional development resources are in so many ways the missing link to a comprehensive education in management of any kind. It's not an office or a title that makes a leader.  Unfortunately, a great deal of ideas and products have been unsuccessful only because they didn't have the right direction. This fault does not lie in the person that failed the execution as much as it lies on the institution that told them to go out and do great things but never actually told them how to succeed. It's the details, some obscure and some unseen, that makes the biggest difference. It's the job of the educator to provide the best professional development resources to prepare those students to successfully handle anything that comes their way. With so many variables at risk and too many ways to find your project in jeopardy, it's up to the institutions to provide that one element. Leading your people and your organization is the most underrated skill you can learn and unfortunately often times the difference between success and failure.
